I think DA's lore and world are a bit insipid, not particularly "wow, that's cool" or metaphysical, the world in itself is not what engages the player it is strictly background (my opinion). DA focuses on story, choice and character development (not ot mention the amazing voice acting) while Skyrim has a very extensive, sometimes contradictory, but nevertheless intriguing, highly metaphysical and complex lore and an amazing world and environment. However, if we have to compare, I think both games can learn a lot from each other. At the end of the day, they are both successful franchises and deliver very unique experiences. To be honest, I think both games are good, they focus on different things of course, and there's nothing wrong with that.
